Suddenly a Golden Retriever, fascinated by the microphone, stormed into the frame, took it from her hand and ran away, stunned by the newscaster.
The cameraman who continued filming noticed Serezhkina trying to chase the pooch to get her microphone back.
The broadcast was not interrupted and viewers could see everything that happened from start to finish. The presenter in the studio tried to save the situation when she announced to viewers that they had lost touch with the correspondent and would be returning soon.
The video went viral on Twitter after reporter Ali Özkök posted it on the mirco blogging website to shed light on the on-air mishap.
Fortunately, the journalist caught up with the dog and after a while retrieved her microphone. The reporter informed viewers that the dog took a bite or two from the microphone, but the pooch was “unharmed,” Times Now News reported.
People on social media loved the “paw-like break” and said it brightened their day. “Mic looks like a popsicle, who can blame the adorable dog?” commented one user. “Obviously microphones in Russia are made of bacon,” observed another.
Please let this happen to me at some point in my career 😂 https://t.co/7RPse3cVGA
